The Weisz Group is a leading distributor in the Benelux. Our head office is located in Uithoorn, the Netherlands.
Most of our brands are so called design brands, but we also distribute high end Swiss watches and fashion brands.
For the Benelux we have the following watch and jewellery brands in our portfolio: 1001 Basics, Charizzma, Claude Bernard, Danish Design, Edox, Garonne, Italo Bottene, Jacob Jensen, Jon Michel, Junghans, Kerbholz, Leoni, mio fallegro, Movado, Orient, Roamer, Raymond Weil, Sif Jakobs, Swiss Military Hanowa, Swing Jewels & Tom Hope.
Danish Design and Garonne are our own brands and for Jacob Jensen watches, jewellery and clocks we are the manufacturer. We are also the worldwide distributor of Danish Design and Jacob Jensen.
We hold stocks for pick & delivery
At the head office in Uithoorn we keep stock of the running collections. We can deliver about 90% immediately from this stock. This allows our distributors to serve their customers with a short delivery time. The estimated delivery time from our stock is five working days, depending on availability.
We also maintain the possibility of a backorder system. This means that the distributor will receive an announcement when the ordered model has arrived and is ready for delivery.
We produce watches of high quality, but still quality control is an important link in our chain. The quality is checked structurally at the following steps:
- During production
- Before shipment to our head office
- Upon arrival at the head office
- During order collection from the stock
- During packing for final dispatch
With the above quality control structure we have been able to reduce returns to less than 1%.
We are very proud of our own aftersales department. Mr. Edward Weisz, co-owner and CEO: “We have all the tools and spare parts in-house. The department has in total seven watchmakers. That is the way jewellers and customers meet each other. We have noticed we have a good name, because the people automatically come to see us.”
International sales department
Our international sales department at the head office exist of four persons, where each person has his/her customer portfolio. The director of this department has the overall responsibility for all the distributors.
Because of this structure, all emails are replied within 24 hours and orders are being handled with personal involvement. Our customers have experienced that corresponding with “their” contact person is very pleasant and efficient.
Our flexible, flat structure enables the distributor to react immediate on market situations or other matters.
Our in-house marketing department works closely with specialized communication agencies to ensure optimized support for all our brands. This includes e.g. press releases, press introductions, events, visuals and high resolution images. The marketing department is also responsible for all advertising campaigns.
Together with the distributors, the international sales and marketing department create a marketing plan and provide a customized support for our distributors.
We support our brands by exhibiting at international fairs, such as BaselWorld, Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the India International Watch and Clock Fair “Samaya Bharati”. Together with our distributing partners we exhibit also at local fairs.
In addition to the above we financially support our distributors with their local marketing activities.
