Danish Design – World Brand

DANISH DESIGN CONQUERS THE WORLD

Danish Design has become one of the most popular watch brands in the world, available in dozens of countries. The popularity is due to an appealing combination of elegant Scandinavian design, excellent materials, high quality and reasonable prices.

One of the remarkable aspects of the brand is its ability to design watches that are trendy but do not rapidly go out of fashion. It is a specific quality that distinguishes true iconic design from the sometimes futile following of short-lived fashion trends. A Danish Design watch from 2015 will still look great in 2020 because its design is based upon the firm principles of industrial design.

Beauty

One of the greatest product designers of the 20th century, Raymond Loewy remarked: “It would seem that more than function itself, simplicity is the deciding factor in the aesthetic equation. One might call the process beauty through function and simplification.” He was right of course and it is exactly this design philosophy Danish Design has embraced. The watches are functional and simple, turning a time telling instrument into a thing of beauty. The intelligent use of skin friendly materials (stainless steel, anti-allergic titanium) and advanced production technology are making the phenomenal success of Danish Design easy to understand.

NEW MODELS – For 2015, the brand is expanding its already impressive collection of ladies and gentlemen’s watches further. Thus, the successful Date 360 series with its unique circular date indication (360 degrees) is enlarged with two new versions. Model IQ66Q1050 has a cool anthracite case and a timeless mesh steel bracelet, an anthracite dial and second hand in contrasting yellow. Model IQ69Q1050 stands out with the titanium-coloured dial and a blue second hand. The new models fit in well with the IQ68Q1050, the flagship of the series. All models have a stainless steel case (42mm) and are water resistant to 50 meters. The mineral glass is slightly domed.
